Nutley, NJ

The first settler of European descent in the area was Bastian Van Giesen. His home, Vreeland Homestead, is now the headquarters of the Nutley Women's Club. In the 1960s, the arts were represented in another way when an upstart band called Aerosmith played at the Nutley prom.
